Method
- Add the olive oil to your blender.
- Combine the chick peas and Tahini to the blender and blend until creamy.
- Next, add the remaining ingredients and blend it all together.
- Now, pour the hummus into a pretty serving bowl.
- Garnish with paprika and/or chopped parsley. If you have any chick peas left over, add those on top as well. I like to add a few Kalamata olives.
Notes
- If you want to use dried chickpeas, just make sure you soak them the night before. Cook them in a pot of boiling water and simmer for a few hours or until fork tender. I would peel the skin off as the hummus will be extra creamy.
- If using canned chickpeas, you’ll want to drain them for this recipe.
