DIY Wall Hanging Flower Basket
This Wall Hanging Flower Basket will add both charm and coziness to your home or front porch. You can even change up the flowers seasonly.
Materials
- Seagrass Basket with handle
- Floral Foam (optional)
- Faux Geranium Flowers (red and white)
- Faux Fern Bush
- Greenery (snipped off from the geraniums)
- Ribbon or Twine
- American Flag (small)
- Wall Hook or Nail
- Scissors
Instructions
Using Live Plants
- Pick a basket with a flat back for easy wall mounting. Ensure it’s deep enough to hold soil or floral foam.
- Line the basket - Use a coconut coir liner to hold soil and retain moisture. Add a small plastic liner with drainage holes if needed.
- Add potting mix and plants - Fill with potting mix. Add flowers and water gently.
Using Faux Flowers
- Insert floral foam inside (optional). Arrange faux or dried flowers creatively.
- Wrap twine or ribbon around the rim. Add small signs, butterflies, or flags for flair.
