Method
- Sauté carrots and garlic in your pot. Cook until fork tender.
- Pour the bone broth into the pot and bring to a boil.
- Next, add the pasta and cook according to package directions.
- Add the herbs, salt, pepper and bay leaf.
- Combine the cooked shredded chicken to the soup. Stir together.
- Putting the lid on, allow to simmer for 30-40 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaf and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add chopped Leeks or Celery for additional flavors and nutrients.
- You can also use chopped cooked chicken breasts instead of a roasted chicken.
- For extra creaminess, add 1/4-1/2 cup of heavy cream the last 10 minutes of simmering.
- Make your own pasta, if you like.
