Ingredients

  • 5 lbs Sweet Potatoes (Cut into fry shape)
  • 2 tbsp Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Method

  1. Wash and cut your potatoes. Peeling is optional, although, you will be eliminating vital nutrients if you do end up peeling them.
  2. Place potatoes in a bowl.
  3. Scoop 2 tbsp of grass-fed beef tallow in the bowl.
  4. Using your hands, massage the tallow and salt/pepper until the potatoes are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the fries on to a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees in the oven for 25 minutes. Turn the fries over.
  7. Bake for another 25-30 minutes. Once the fries are golden in color, they are ready.
  8. Pull out of the oven and allow to cool for a bit.
  9. Eat the fries just like they are, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley or extra salt.

Notes

  1. Use a 10 lb bag of potatoes for a larger crowd.
  2. You can peel the potatoes or leave the skins on for added nutrition.
  3. Dip the fries in an organic (or homemade) ketchup or buttermilk ranch dressing
  4. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper if you like things hot or feta cheese for a twist.
