I love giving gifts to others not just at Christmas but throughout the year. I always like to find items that are functional, practical and of good quality that I know the person would enjoy. This Gift Giving Guide should help you find something for everyone on your list.
I’ve searched and searched to find companies that line up with my thinking. I’m very particular who I partner with so I’m proud to offer these to you. Most of them have great deals right now and some will even let you stack my code along with a sale they are having. Hey, I’m all about saving money too. Enjoy the savings and have fun shopping!

Homesteader
Homesteaders of America – If you know someone who is just starting out on their homesteading journey, this membership is exactly what they will need to get started. I’ve been to several of their conferences and they are very informative. Speakers like Joel Salatin, Jill Winger, Shawn & Beth Dougherty, just to name a few will be there giving workshops and lectures. Things I’ve learned in the past are how to use herbs, pasture grazing cows, chicken keeping, preserving food and so much more! Check out their Membership Packages Here.

Gardener
Epic Gardening – One of my favorite places where I buy my gardening supplies, seeds and my beautiful new beds. Perfect for any gardener in your life! (Receive an additional 5% off their sale prices HERE).

True Leaf Market – I love all the organic/heirloom seeds from this company. You will too no matter what zone you are in. I always get great yields and the packaging is adorable. Receive 10% off HERE.

Simple Living
Lehman’s – My favorite of all time store. I order online but one day I’m going to make the trip to Ohio and spend some time in the Amish country. This is where I got my clothesline (that’s in my garden pictures) along with so many other simple living tools, gadgets and items that I use here on my homestead. Their stuff is quality and a majority of it is made by the local Amish. In fact, over 1,000 of their products are made in the USA. Receive $20 off (use code: TAKE20) your order HERE. You can also stack the discount on any sale prices.

Chicken Keeper
Run Chicken – I’ve been raising chickens for years and when I stumbled on this chicken coop door three years ago, I knew I had to have it. The comfort of knowing that I don’t have to go out to the coop every morning or at dusk to lock my girls up was enough for me. Being made in the USA Flag colors was a selling feature as well. They come in several colors that you can choose from. Receive 15% off HERE.

Household
Truly Free – I searched and searched for years to find a chemical free laundry and cleaning product. I even went as far as to make my own laundry soap. As handy as I am, it never got the stench out of my husband’s construction or lawn order clothes. I truly love these products! I’ve been using them for a few years now and can’t recommend them enough. Check out their specials deals HERE.

SAVVY SHOPPING TIP!
If you use Rakuten, I checked and several of these companies are signed up with them which means you’ll receive “cash back”. I am constantly using Rakuten and receive checks every quarter. No affiliate, just type in “Rakuten” in the google search bar to sign up.
Health and Wellness
Toups and Co. – I met Emily at one of the Homesteaders of America events and fell in love with her toxin-free make up and skincare. I think you are going to love it too! (Use code: lhsimpleliving10 to receive an additional 10% off HERE).
Fullscript – This is a great place to buy all your supplements. They are cheaper than what I have even found at my local health food store. They have thousands of products and the quality is top notch. Get all your supplements at one company. Over 350 brands. You’ll automatically receive 10% off your order at checkout Click HERE.
Primal Trust – When I was going through my black mold illness, I needed some extra help with my nervous system. I was eating clean organic foods, taking all the supplements my doctor told me to but I was missing a link. This program brought me back to life. I have dealt with childhood trauma from an abusive and alcoholic father and that stuff stays buried deep in our minds and can cause sickness. The program is so helpful if you know someone dealing with mental issues. It’s not mental at all. It’s our nervous system that has become unbalanced. If you know anyone dealing with Lyme disease (I had co-infections of this too), then grab this FREE ebook on brain retraining.
Ancient Remedies Book – When I first started going to the homesteading conferences, they sparked an interest in me to start using more herbs and plants in my day to day life. This book is packed with recipes and uses for all kinds of ailments. Must have for anyone really. Grab it HERE and receive 10% off.

The Foodie
Masa Chips – These would make a great stocking stuffer! I used to be a “Doritos” girl. I loved the cheesy crunchy taste and could eat almost an entire back in one sitting. So addicting, I know haha. I found these chips and oh my word! I make nachos all the time with them or just have them on the side of a sandwich. Receive 20% off your first order HERE.
Lineage Provisions – Dr. Paul Saladino created this amazing beef protein powder. It has liver, kidney and heart in it so I know I’m getting all the right nutrients. I can’t personally stomach eating liver or heart but I can take it in a protein smoothie lol. He has the original (flavoreless) and my favorite, the chocolate. This would also make a great stocking stuffer! Grab a bag HERE.
U.S. Wellness Meats – I’ve looked locally for grass-fed, grass-finished meats and I’m only able to find a small variety of cuts of meat. I’ve researched and researched until I found this company. Wow, I’m so impressed with what they have to offer and the flavor is amazing. I have been buying breakfast sausage, roasts, burgers, stew meat, thin sliced beef and more. They also have chicken, pork, organ meats, elk and seafood. Send a box to a customer or your favorite family as a gift. I don’t think I’d ever turn down a great box of meat as a gift! Receive 15% off HERE.

Farmhouse Teas – This is a family business that offers delicious organic loose leaf tea. They even have a “coffee substitute” that has hints of cocoa (which I love). This would be so cute as a gift along side a mug. Great for teachers, co-workers or just that special tea drinker in your life. Grab some organic tea HERE.
In the Kitchen
For the Bread Baker
Baking is the heart of my kitchen so I am always looking for quality and ethical companies that I can buy from and use in my own recipes and baking.
Grain Mills
I have two electric grain mills and one manual one. I’ve been milling my own flour for 14 years. My husband bought me this WonderMill for Christmas one year. Btw, this one has been out of stock everywhere for almost all year. It’s an excellent mill and mine still runs just like the day I got it. I’d run and get this one if you or you know someone who is needing a mill. I also have this Nutrimill one. It works great too and is pretty enough to sit out on your counter. I have it sitting in my pantry. Save $20 off your purchase. (Use code: LHSIMPLELIVING). Lastly, I have used my WonderMill hand crank mill and love using it. It is especially nice if the power ever goes out.

Grains
Grains – These two companies are my favorite for buying grains and freshly milled flour. The flour is ground on a Unifine mill, which retains all the nutrition due to the process of using stones. No glyphosate, non-gmo, organic clean wheat. If you are just diving in, this is a great place to start.
Guardian Grains – receive 15% off your order, enter code: lhsimpleliving
Sunrise Flour Mill – receive 20% off, no code needed.
Miscellaneous
Bread Lame – This is my favorite lame and I’ve tried several. It fits perfect in your hand. I bought two different designs and love them both. Receive 10% off.
Sourdough Made Simple Book – I released this ebook last Thanksgiving and it’s been a real hit with bakers who are using fresh milled flour. This is a digital product and will be automatically downloaded to your email inbox. Give the gift of bread making HERE.
Cookware
GreenPan – I found this company earlier this year and I’m in love with everything from the electric skillet, to the dutch oven to the slow cooker. Everything is light weight which really helps when you have a heavy pot of soup you need to carry from the stove to the table. My selling point is that none of their products have PFAS (forever chemicals on them). I found them at both of these places HERE and HERE. Give the gift of healthy cooking!
Lancaster Cast Iron – I have been cooking on cast iron for a very long time and most of my pieces are from Lodge. Those are great but I found a new cast iron company that is completely made in the USA in the Amish country of Lancaster, PA. They also have a beautiful line of handmade wooden products. These skillets are so light weight too. My favorite is this 10.5 inch skillet along with the leather handmade handle.

Miscellaneous
AquaTru Water Purification System – One thing my husband and I did last year was I bought this counter top water purification system on a great Black Friday Sale. We don’t buy bottled water anymore. This is a reverse osmosis machine that filters out dangerous inorganic chemicals, including lead, chromium 6, arsenic, nitrates, heavy metals and PFAS (forever chemicals). It sits right next to our coffee pot and is so easy to fill up daily. Click HERE to see all of their water purification systems.
Home Decor/Miscellaneous
Antique Farmhouse – One of my favorite places to shop! They have shopping events based on different themes and styles. I love how they change things up daily. Yes, daily. You will find something for anyone and grab something for yourself. Enjoy FREE shipping over $49.
Etsy – When I need a special handmade gift, I head straight to Etsy. I just ordered a cute embroidered ornament for my new granddaughter that was born earlier this year. I can’t wait to give it to her parents to put on their tree. They have up to 60% off right now site wide.
Mudpie – If you’ve never heard of Mudpie, you are going to love them. Mudpie carries clothing for women, children and baby. They also have an array of entertaining pieces and have some great hostess gifts. Check out their Gift Guide HERE.
Flash Rug – My favorite rug company. Made from high-quality cotton (chemical free), affordable and they are even pet friendly. Did I mention you can throw them in the washing machine to clean them. So easy and adds beauty to your rooms. Look at my granddaughter Scarlett’s rug! Receive 15% off.

King of Christmas – I grew up getting fraiser for Christmas trees every year. My grandpa would get the fullest tree and all of us grandkids would help decorate it. I started carrying that tradition when i got married and started having kids. Well, I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to a real tree now that I have found King of Christmas. I probably will at some point but let me tell you why I love this company. You get free shipping, they are legit life-like as well. It takes less than five minutes to put it up and take it down. They are very affordable and they will last for years. Grab you one HERE.

Faith/Bible Reading
The James Method – Have you heard of Bible verse mapping? This changed my relationship with God and how I study HIS word. This is going to be a long section as I think it’s the most important.
From founder and creator, Lauren: The James Method really began around 4 years ago, during a time when I felt very distant from God. ‘Spiritually stagnant’ is how I like to describe it. Maybe you can relate? Have you ever felt like you were doing just enough to look like a Christian but not nearly enough to truly have a relationship with your Savior? That’s where I was. I was attending church regularly and even serving, but my daily walk with the Lord was inconsistent at best. Going through cycles, I was reading my Bible regularly then not touching it for months at a time. I had this internal struggle happening and vividly remember crying out to God, “please help me get this”. Something was missing but I didn’t know what.
It was then that I read James 4:8, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. This was the verse that God used to wake me up. It was this verse that made me realize I was not doing my part. I was being LAZY yet expecting God to over deliver. I know it’s cliché to say, but this was my ‘a-ha moment’. This was the moment when I decided I was done being lukewarm. I was done depending on a once or twice a week church service to feed me spiritually. Right then and there, I committed to drawing near to God daily. I committed to waking up every morning before the sun rose to spend time with my Creator. I was going to give it a year and I called it my ‘James Method’ project, based on James 4:8.
That was me too. I excitedly now get my Bible out and dive into the word. I love using my verse mapping sheets and my binder is one of my favorite tools now. Click HERE to see more!

Books I recommend
I love reading and I honestly have too many books that won’t fit in any of my bookshelves haha. Here are some of my favorites. I get asked a lot about where I buy my books and what I like to read. Here are some on my list. I love giving books as a gift. The Kindle is also a great gift idea for people that would rather hold that instead of a book. My daughter also bought an Audible membership that is perfect when you are traveling. We all enjoy listening to books while we’re traveling.
- The Bible – Lately, I switched over to the NASB version. It’s pretty much the closest to the KJV Bible. I found this larger print and I’m loving this one with the pretty green cover.
- Jewels of Widsom – This is my favorite daily devotion.
- The Essential Home Ground Flour – everything you need to learn and get started on milling your own flour.
- Companion Planting Secrets to Gardening – this book helped me when I was starting out gardening on how to grow certain vegetables with others like flowers, herbs and vegetables.
- Fervent – A Woman’s Battle Plan to Prayer
- Healing is a Choice – The power to heal is in God’s hands but the choice is in our hands.
- Shattered: Surviving the Loss of a Child – I bought this for a friend and it was really comforting to her.
- Think This Not That – Excellent book from Dr. Axe on shifting our mind to breakthrough limiting beliefs.
- The Vintage Church Cookbook – This is a collection of all those recipes that would show up at church gatherings or even funerals back in the day.
A Few More Essentials
- What to Expect the First Year – I bought this for my daughter-in-law when she had my granddaughter earlier this year. This book was my internet when I had my kids. So helpful to go through each month of your new baby.
- Password Keeper Book – I got tired of trying to remember all my passwords for online logins. This book keeps me organized.
- Beauty in the Bible – Adult Coloring Book: This book is so relaxing and has beautiful scriptures giving you both peace and inspiration.
- The Ultimate Gift – This book is the first in a series collection. It’s heartwarming and inspiring with life-changing lessons.
I hope you find something in this gift giving guide for that special person in your life. As we get older we don’t need stuff just sitting around. I personally will cherish something that is practical and functional that I enjoy using in my everyday life. Wishing you a joyous Christmas season!
