Freezer Make Ahead “Anything Chicken” is your best friend. It’s for when you’ve had a long day at work or maybe you are just getting back from a trip. You don’t want to spend money eating out so you need something quick. “Anything” Chicken means that it’s chicken breasts or thighs cooked in bulk for really any dish. I don’t use a seasoning as I season it when I make the meal.

How to Prepare Freezer Make Ahead “Anything Chicken”
- Prepare your raw chicken, with breasts or thighs. Trim off anything that you wish.
- I like using my Instant Pot but you can use a grill, oven or stove top.
- Place olive oil in the bottom of the Instant Pot. Add the chicken and the water.
- Cook your chicken according to the direction in your manual. If you like a particular seasoning and want to make the same type of meal several times, then use that. Sometimes I’ll make 2 batches. One with no seasoning and one with seasoning.
- At this point, you can either leave the chicken as a breast or thigh. You can also shred/pull the chicken, depending on how you plan to use it.
- Allow the chicken to cool completely.
- Place in either a ziploc bag or a container with a lid. Make sure you write the date on it.
- Update your Freezer Inventory Sheets. See below 👇🏻 to grab a set for FREE.
