I’m not a spicy “wing” girl, but man, these Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are the best. The flavors of the garlic and Parmesan cheese are just so yummy. These are great as an appetizer or alongside your favorite pizza.

How to Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
There are just a few ingredients when making these garlic Parmesan chicken wings. First, you start with a good extra virgin olive oil. I don’t use seed oils like canola or vegetable oil due to the health concerns. Fresh minced garlic and shaved Parmesan cheese is the best. Add salt and pepper, some fresh cut parsley and these wings will melt in our mouth.
- Ideally, grab wings from either your local farmer, market or farmed raised (that you butchered).
- Mince your garlic and grate the Parmesan cheese.
- Add those to a bowl of olive oil. Add the salt and pepper. Mix it all together.
- Place the wings in a ziploc gallon bag or other marinade container.
- Pour the garlic Parmesan mixture over the chicken.
- Now, you’ll shake the bag or move it around so the marinade will coat the chicken evenly. Refrigerate for 2-8 hours.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and lay on the parchment paper, spacing each wing evenly.
- Drizzle the garlic Parmesan marinade over each wing to give it more flavor as they bake.
- Place in the oven. Once they look golden and crispy, pull them out and sprinkle the parsley on top. Serve and enjoy.

Flats or Drums
There’s a debate out there about which chicken wing is the best? I’m a drum or drumette eater. I like them because they have more meat on them haha. That’s a pretty good reason for me. It has more white meat as well, if you like that. See below on if eating the skin is good for us?
