I’ve had that entrepreneurial spirit ever since I was a young girl. My cousin and I sold popcorn to the neighbors so we could earn some money over the summer one year 😂.

My girls are finally laying so I’m setting up an honor system for the locals to buy eggs. My goal one day is to have a little farmstand at the end of our property.

You can do it too ladies! It may not be eggs you’re selling, but you can start a business on whatever you want to do. Be that Proverbs 31 woman….

I can’t believe it’s taken me 2 years since moving into our new farmhouse to get this cabinet organized 🤦🏼‍♀️. Why do we do this to ourselves? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m so excited because I found these 2-tier black stands that fit perfect under here. The bottom one slides out, they come with hooks that you can hang brushes, a basket to hang on the side for things like sponges or gloves and the feet are adjustable so if you need to raise them you can.

How cool are these? Maybe I just don’t get out that often, but this literally changes things in the kitchen, js 😂. Such a game changer!

I’ve been around construction since I was a litt

I’ve been around construction since I was a little girl but I’ve never tackled a job like this on my own. My nephew came down and helped me with the foundation and framing. My friend helped me put the roof on (2 person job 🤪).

I did all the rest and I did this in the heat of the summer. What was I thinking? 🥴🙄
.
I worked tirelessly every day for 2 1/2 months. When you want something done and all your people are busy 🤦🏼‍♀️, you dive in, roll up your sleeves and get it done yourself.
.
If I can do it, you can do it ladies! I used @youtube and got online when I needed to figure something out. I’m handy with a drill and a saw but really had no idea how to put siding on, trim or frame windows haha. Hard work is good for us!
.
It’s perfectly imperfect and I love my little 🐓coop. This thing is so tight and secure, nothing should ever get in here 😝. My windows were $2 each. I got the cypress siding from our local sawmill. I also used a free pallet for my porch. So, what do you think? 😍🐓

Putting these Irises in front of our front porch was the best decision we made when we did our landscaping two years ago.
